Ride-A-Thon Success!!
This years 7th annual ride at Putnam Ranch, and the second in memory of our beloved Sandy Kuhn proved to be a great success in spite of the economy. 115 riders rode out on Saturday and 208 people joined us for the music, auction, and dinner. We also had the largest number of campers this year with approx. 80 horses coming in Friday night. It is a heatwarming experience to see so many people come out in support of HHH. The HHH program would not exist without this generous and dedicated support. We were able to raise approx. $14,200. After expenses that leaves HHH with $11,330!
Speical thanks to David Reed who pushed this event hard for us, Susie Peterson (Redland Riding Academy) who practically brought her entire barn with her, Beverly Hartley for the highest adult sponsorships $1919, and Isabella Park for the Highest youth sponsorship $77.41. Every single rider, guest, participant, volunteer, and sponsor who helped to make this event a success!
THANK YOU from myself, the board of directors, the clients, volunteers, and even the horses for your generosity and support. Our program continues to be provided free of charge for all participants. If you know of someone who may benefit, please share our information with them.
